D&G Foundation hosts training for new cohort of bartenders

Sixteen young people from Montego Bay and nearby communities in St James recently joined the latest group of trainees in the Desnoes & Geddes (D&G) Foundation’s Learning for Life skills training programme.

In collaboration with the HEART/NSTA Trust, the D&G Foundation is dedicated to fostering empowerment for at-risk youth through skills development.

Using a practical and immersive teaching approach, the foundation’s team organised the first training session at Martina’s Bar & Grill in Montego Bay.

During the session, participants were exposed to a range of professional soft skills through informative presentations, interactive group activities and exciting giveaways.

With more than 50 trainees already benefiting from the programme since the start of this year, D&G Foundation continues to demonstrate its commitment to the development of young Jamaicans.
