Superhero Academy Hosts Certificate Ceremony at Jungle Bay Resort

The Superhero Academy concluded its month-long program with a certificate ceremony at Jungle Bay Resort, celebrating the achievements of 12 participants who successfully completed the academy’s intensive entrepreneurship course.

The program, which ran from July 8 to August 8 at Portsmouth Secondary School, focused on equipping young entrepreneurs with the skills necessary to set up and run their own businesses. According to Tessa Prince, Director of the Superhero Academy, the program was a resounding success. “The students demonstrated incredible passion and drive,” Prince remarked. “They developed their own business names, learned key marketing strategies, and explored various aspects of running a business.”

In addition to business training, the academy emphasized community involvement. Participants played an active role in their community by visiting a home for the elderly and donating food hampers to those in need. The program also included a visit to a chocolate factory, where students were taught the process of manufacturing chocolate from start to finish, adding an adventurous element to their learning experience.

The culminating activity at Jungle Bay Resort was a celebration of the participants’ hard work and achievements. Special thanks were extended to the management and staff of Jungle Bay, J. Astaphans, Judy Larocque, Mrs. Cassie Joseph, the principal of Portsmouth Secondary School, as well as all parents and other stakeholders who supported the academy.

The Superhero Academy is already planning to continue the camp next summer, promising to inspire and empower more young entrepreneurs.
