Palm Island Resort is searching for a passionate, creative, dedicated, hands on and experienced Executive Chef who can enhance the Culinary Experience of a well-known all-Inclusive Caribbean Resort.
Have a minimum of 5 Years’ Experience in 5 Stars All Inclusive Resorts – Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts will be a plusAccountable for the Overall Success on the daily Operation of the KitchenKnowledge of various Local and International Cuisine such as Caribbean, French, Italian, Asian.Able to Create new Menus & CostingMust be able to upgrade the Kitchen Operation and maintain high Standards of Health, Safety and Sanitation (HAACP/Serve Safe)Manage the Kitchen Personnel and Supervise/coordinate all related Culinary Activities for two Kitchens and one CanteenEstimate Food Consumption and manage the Food Requisitions and Costs ControlManage all Kitchen Areas to ensure a consistent high-Quality Product is produced at all timesHave experience in Overseas OrdersAbility to plan and promote the Menus and standardize Production Recipes to ensure consistent QualityHave experience in the Completion of the Annual Operational BudgetsPossess strong Management, Leadership, Organization, Communication & Customer Service SkillsGood knowledge of ComputerHands on, able to work & train the team to reach outstanding StandardsGuest Oriented & PersonalizationDedicated, passionate, hard workerAble to function under pressureAble to live and work on remote Island
