The Houston Caribbean Professionals Association began in 2016 with a vision to connect people, expand opportunities, and strengthen the visibility and impact of Houston’s Caribbean community. Today, the Houston Caribbean Professionals Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization united by a shared commitment to helping people and communities thrive.
Rooted in Caribbean heritage, our mission is to support, connect, and unite professionals for the advancement of Caribbean communities in Houston and abroad. Our community extends beyond heritage alone, welcoming those born “back home,” raised in the diaspora, or connected through family, community, or a genuine appreciation for Caribbean culture.
We bring that mission to life by creating spaces where professionals, entrepreneurs, students, community partners, and allies from diverse industries and backgrounds can connect and collaborate. Together, we share knowledge and resources, celebrate one another’s achievements, support Caribbean businesses, and create opportunities through mentorship, leadership, scholarships, entrepreneurship, cultural engagement, and service to our communities.
