It is with a profound sense of loss and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of ARCHESON CORNELIUS ROMAIN also known as “Archie” of St Joseph Dominica who resided in Canada. He died on April 29th 2024 at the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital at the age of 73.
He was the beloved husband of Sarah Jno-Baptiste Romain.
Loving father of Karlene Parillon and Kendra Romain, and son in law Donald Parillon.
Proud grandfather of Malachi and Mycah.
Dear brother of Charmaine Shillingford, Angela Morvan, Corina Laville, Ruthine Strindholm, Timothy and Fitz Romain and their families. Many loving nieces and nephews.
His life long friend and confidant Clement “Cato” Ferreira and his family.
Ambrose and Judith Sylvester, Keith Shillingford, Arthurtan Letham, Ralph Jnobaptiste, Cletus Charles, Everton Charles and numerous other relatives and friends both in Dominica, Canada and the United States.
His funeral mass took place on May 10th 2024 at the Chapel of St. Joseph at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home in ThornHill Ontario, Canada.
