$170,000+ Government Donation to ECDCs Reduces Tuition Costs for More than 3,400 PreschoolersThe Government of Saint Lucia, led by Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre, continues to deliver timely support to parents and guardians of preschool children enrolled in privately owned early childhood development centres (ECDCs).
On January 24, 2025, Prime Minister Pierre and Minister for Education, Hon. Shawn Edward, on behalf of the government, donated just over $170,000 to reduce tuition fees for more than 3,400 preschoolers.
