Denée Carpe, Secretary,          Commonwealth of Dominica

Denée is a health science high school teacher dedicated to shaping the next generation of health professionals. She holds two Master’s degrees—one in Higher Education and another in Athletic Training. In recognition of her outstanding service, she has received both the beginning teacher and teacher of the year awards.

 

She has also received an Impact Award from the Nerdy Girl Success Club, and an Educator of the Year award from the Houston Caribbean Professionals Association. She additionally mentors students in several other student-led organizations, including HOSA-Future Health Professionals, VOICES, and the Wellness Coalition.

 

Beyond the classroom, she is a self-proclaimed foodie, with a particular fondness for savoring culinary delights during her travels, especially in places like Italy and Japan.
