On Saturday, April 27,2024 members of the Dominica Lions Club joined with Lions and LeoClubs across Sub-District 60B for the 2024 Worldwide Induction Day Ceremony organized bythe District’s Global Membership Team.

NASSAU CRUISE PORT HOSTS SPECIAL ART CLASS FOR AUTISTIC KIDS

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Nassau Cruise Port (NCP) partnered with The Current: Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center (The Current Gallery) to host a special art workshop for autistic children in celebration of Autism Awareness Month. Twenty children from the R.E.A.C.H. Bahamas (Resource, Education, Advocacy & Community Help) community participated in a Botanical Leaf Printing class for an afternoon of creativity and fun at the Gallery & Wine Bar at Nassau Cruise Port.

Recently, Winera encountered challenges with its banana box production and was unable to supply our banana farmers with boxing and packaging materials. The boxing shortage resulted in revenue losses as many farmers could not sell their produce and fruits for several weeks.

OECS Business Council Engages Regional Private Sector in Revitalisation Efforts

OECS Media Release April 26, 2024 – In a series of collaborative efforts, the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Business Council (OBC) actively engaged esteemed private sector representatives across the region to gather feedback and insights on revitalising and redefining the role of the OBC within the sub-region. These consultations were held from November 2023 to April 2024 both virtually and in person.
